The 5-minute nighttime regimen

Have you seen Neighbors? We watched it for the first time last week. Talk about perfect timing. The movie was hilarious and relatable (ie- the final scene when the young couple is watching their baby sleep realizing they will be responsible for their daughter’s life until they’re “really f*cking old”) .

As I approach Hank’s one-month mark next week, I feel as though I’m slowly getting back into the swing of everyday life. Removing my contacts or making my bed was a huge win for me during the first two weeks of his life. Forget about washing my face…if he was asleep past 8pm, I would run and DIVE under the covers. Now, I’m feeling *somewhat* rested and calm enough to enjoy a little more of a nighttime routine. Again, perfect timing. My girlfriend, Mer, came to visit us and brought me a post- baby/ early 30th birthday present filled with new beauty treats (you can imagine my excitement as there’s no spa trip in my near future). The regimen takes about five minutes and makes my tired skin feel completely rejuvenated.

FullSizeRender (30)FullSizeRender (31)Aqua Reveal Satin Bright Soft Water Peel: like nothing I’ve used before. Space.NK can’t keep this product on the shelves. It’s an ‘innovative facial exfoliator containing no acids, no scrubs, and no enzymes. Clinically proven to provide powerful exfoliation that’s as gentle as water’.

Tata Harper Moisturizing Mask: I use this mask as an overnight treatment and wake up with incredibly soft skin.

Lancer Volume Enhancing Lip Serum: An advanced lip treatment which plumps lips and diminishes fine lines.

The gift was a nice reminder that it’s important to feed your skin. Speaking of feeding…duty calls.
