One of the best things about living in SF has been learning about all the fascinating projects my friends get to work on here. And, along those lines seeing where they work. I took a tour of my friend’s waterfront office located in the Dogpatch and it was one of the coolest and more forward thinking setups I’ve seen in a while (completely ecofabulous with lots of Cradle To Cradle products and Fireclay Tile).
Station A, the newly formed innovation arm of NRG energy, is disrupting the traditional energy marketing through micro-CHP and local, distributed energy generation. They wanted to build a new office that highlights their small-scale energy approach on the site of their huge, decommissioned power plant in San Francisco. – via Vital Inc.
Gone are the days of cubicles, fluorescent lights and standard office furniture. They even had New York bagels in the freezer. I mean…when can I move in?
