Last night we headed over to The Great American Music Hall for Dylan Fest: a night to celebrate the music of Bob Dylan. It was my first time at the venue and I have to say it’s now one of my faves. The people watching was incredible: 6o-year-old hippies reliving their glory days, men in suits, babies on shoulders wearing headphone protectors, *celebs…
Two highlights of the night:
1. Seeing our dear friend Rayland Baxter perform A Hard Rains A-Gonna Fall. He’ll be back to the Bay Area in December and is opening for The Head and The Heart.
2. *Standing next to the nerd from Legally Blonde, Oz Perkins. Do you know how hard it was for me not to do The Bend & Snap?! Talk about a missed opportunity. Turns out his brother, Elvis Perkins, was performing as well.
Bravo to everyone who performed! This female vocalist has a new fan.
